Pune Testers Community launched…

Last day was  really day of joyful moments  for Pune Testers , as we have actually made a  step forward for organizing The Pune Testers Community.

Testers Meetup

I was waiting eagerly for this moment from a long time, while I was with Pradeep and Santhosh these Bangalore testers were too serious about their community work, just like Ajoy Singha and Vipul Gupta for the NCR testers community.

Vipul  Kochar (Founder of Pure Testing ) has really helped a lot for gathering and organizing ,He is doing a great work  for testing community all over India. I also want to thank Tech-Mahindra for their effort, and providing awesome Infrastructure for our First Meet.

I think we Pune testers are  blessed very much, as we got Dr. Sukanta Bhatt as  speaker in our first meet. He is  The *coolest* speaker of India, as the World Testing community knows.

Vipul’s Speech was Just Fantastic; his presentation is so short for me! He is an inspiration for all of us.

There were also the more slides from:

  • Praveen Wadekar on Test Driven Development,
  • Rupa Joshi on Beyond Functional Testing,
  • Amit Thakkar on  5  dimensions of Testing.

Vidhi Yadhav helped all of us by *not* providing any more slides.  She was Facilitator for the Meet-up and  told us nice stories with  hidden morals in them.

Everyone , and especially me, missed Shrini Kulkarni here  , he had a Client meeting at the same time and we all hope he will be coming to our next meetup .This well-known  tester will share his Testing Gyaan with all of  us.

If he won’t come next time we have to  organize Pune Testers meet at his office, forcefully. :)

Gathering of Testers !!!

Problems on the table session.

I *loved* this session very much. It is a good chance for the testers to Put their organizations problems they were facing , and  experienced people can answer for them how to solve those ideas.

Sukanta is very much interested to give solution for their problems. He was taking a stand if their any rumors spread about testing. The way of solving problem by first understanding the Context of problems , helped us a lot.

What we are going to do next?

We gathered finally, we had a great enjoy and Fun, it will nice for you we are doing next.

  • Weekend Testing Pune Chapter:

We are organizing weekend testing each weekend for two hours, probably the time for which all are free.

The sessions will be purely “Hands-on”.

I did had blog post on My Weekend-Testing Experience before, you can learn there about it.

Weekend Testing is   100 percent an “Indian Thing” which has fascinated world yet. For more details you can view Weekend Testing website.

  • Blog:

Many of testers are agreed to have blog of their own so that they can share their experiences with the world.

The Speaker is going ask again the same question next time  “How many testers here around have  Blog on testing ?” Hope you will be ready for that question next time.

  • Pune Testers Library:

This is the Fantastic idea of Vipul about Books. I really *love* reading books on testing .we are building a library for the testers in Pune so that they can have more resources on testing.

Ah , We really missed a one point which I wanted to mention in between. It’s the Coffee we got served at Tech-Mahindra, it was just  too Awesome!

I just loved the Space, Environment they had provided to us.

We are having Next meet on first week of April ,2011 and we all are hope to see you there, Until that we are working on how to plan weekend testing for all .Please check Pune TMM website for updates.

Or else, you can have news about community on my  blog. I will surely give you all the details updates Pune Testing Community .Just be  in touch with me. :)
